Bloglines API Documentation
Bloglines provides several mechanisms for accessing account information.
The Notifier API is used to quickly gather a count of unread items in
a Bloglines account. The Sync API is used to accessing subscription lists
and unread blog items. The Blogroll API is used for incorporating subscription
lists in other sites.

Bloglines provides a Ping API to allow publishers the ability to notify us when a blog has been updated.
There are two ways to ping the Bloglines service:

Several tools have been developed that utilize the Bloglines Web Services.
All of the Bloglines Notifiers use the
Notifier API. If you have
developed a tool that utilizes the BWS, please contact
us and we will add you to the list.
Aggregators
- NetNewsWire - NetNewsWire is an easy-to-use RSS Web news reader for Mac OS X. Its familiar three-paned interface -- similar to Apple Mail and Outlook Express -- can fetch and display news from thousands of different websites and weblogs, making it quick and easy to keep up with the latest news.

- BlogBot - BlogBot is an easy-to-use Internet Explorer plugin that gives you RSS/ATOM blog feeds right where you need them.
- BlogMatrix Jäger - BlogMatrix Jäger 1.4 is an extensible "one-panel" weblog and news reader designed for speed and ease of use.
- BlogIM robot - The BlogIM robot is
an instant messager notifier that sends you an Instant Message each time there is a new
article for you to read.
- Doppler Radio - Doppler is
a podcasting client for Windows.
- Bloglines Enclosure Download Script - This Perl program downloads media (ie. sound and
video files) from your Bloglines feeds.
- Bloglines2ipod - This Perl program lets you download your Bloglines feeds to your iPod.
- TiVoBloglines - This TiVo HME application lets you read Bloglines through your TiVo.
- RSS Popper - This RSS plugin for Outlook allows you to synchronize your Bloglines account with Outlook.
- Egress - This PocketPC application allows you to synchronize your Bloglines account with your PocketPC.
